For Heccie Though my heart is breaking
Only memories of your lovely smile,
And everywhere I go I’ll be taking
The remembrance, locked all the while.
And as the sadness overtakes me
While the tears fill my eyes,
Of dreams that will ever beguile me
And live forever through your smile.
And I’ll always remember
Never through my life will forget,
Your sweet voice last December
All I have of you, mixed with regret.
And though God, stepped in to part
Before fates path brought me to you,
I know the door you’ve opened dear heart
I’ll find a vacant chair left for me near you.

HecateWe close our eyes
Bow our heads
In commemoration
She…
Showered our minds
With pictures and quips
Special expressions
Filling our hearts…
A woman undefined
She …
Waved and curtsied
With a flourish
And undeniable grace
Picked up our spirits
With sincerity and composure
Fulfilling mythical moments
Within magical belief
Her credence and love
Has touched us all
Within her unique words
That brought a smile
Posting a depiction
To our boundless words
Flowering our minds
With her talented verse
Soaring unto spirits
Where she will reside
Looking upon us
With truest of pride
We bow our heads
In deepest
Remembrance
To Hecate
Our Poetess
In forever verse

Beloved Heart SisterMy heart is awash with crimson tears
at the loss of my earthly
beloved heart sister
My heart is filled with unfathomable joy
at having known my sweet
beloved heart sister
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The heavens were lowered
to take back
a beautiful Angel's soul
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One day we will sit in a garden
Drinking heavenly tea, enjoying
Cozy lil gal hugs, nose rubs
Giggles and forehead touches
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Profoundly you touched my life
with our minky links
beloved heart sister
My soul is filled with hopeful prayer
for those you left behind
beloved heart sister
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How blessed we are to have known you.
Becca, I shall miss you
and
cherish the memory of you
for all my days on this earth,
until we meet in that garden.
My deepest sympathy to Gordon, the rest of the family Corinna and BigSigh.
You are held gently in my prayers.
Love
Annie

Heccie of the floppy hatYour poem
remembered
with yearning
just as the intoxicating fragrance of lavender
or the woozy aroma of the gardenia
Words . . . yours
still to be heard
escaping from the lips
of young girls
whose lovers bring
chocolates and sweet valentines
Your smile
forever seen
flashing
in the dazzle of birthday balloons
or serene
in the moonbeam's shine upon a lazy pond
Love . . . like yours
savored
as the taste
of mountain water
rescuing the parched tongue
or a rare Red Bordeaux
poured only for the gentlest of ladies
Your friendship
always felt
a touch
soft as a kitten
pressed against our cheek
yet as furious as a tempest
and
like God's hand
everlastingly against our back
Heccie of the floppy hat
your memory
held preciously
in my heart
