Hello to all I am poeticpiers aka Ivor an old fashioned formalist poet. I can do appreciate well written pieces o free form poetic prose but admit my preference for formal poetry
74 years young married for the second time to a poet authoress and musician WE have between us five children three boys two girls 10 grandchildren ranging from two years to twnrty four years and onr great grandchild born In Februray of this year
I have had a varied career embracing law enforcement, social work commerce and machinist ran my own business for a while I had my first poem published at eleven years old and have been writing ever since. I have been published in various magazines and have slef produced a small number of anthologies I write because I have to write I am not terribly inteested in being published Too many hoops to jump through.At presnt publishers seem only interested in free form which I do not regard as poetry Ivor aka poeticpiers
