Flutter and Fall

Running along perimeters
Dodging emotional debris
Looking for my savior
Who he is meant to be

Echoes float amid a wind
Shattered dreams
Inside broken promises
Of what was meant to be

Flash back of memories
Drenched in loss and pain
Becoming translucent images
Reaching beyond reality

Hark heed and listen
Hear the past converging
Rhapsodies played out
Amid melancholy blues

Your voice travels to me…

“Flutter and fall…
Into my arms”

You emerge from a passage
Standing debonair and tall
 Light emitting from your form
My true redeemer is finally born

We trample along a pathway
Redeeming what was
Erasing former plights
In rhythm we refrain

“Flutter and fall…
Cascade yourself in my charms”

I am a temple within hope
Fires burn within devotion
As I reach unto your ardor
Embers continually burning

Becoming weakened
Wafting butterflies transcend
Air becomes difficult to breath
As you come before me

“Flutter and fall…
I will never cause you harm”

Encompassing my being
Into your arms I descend
Reaching into dreams
Surrounded by rays of hope

“Flutter and fall…”

Kimmy ...

I really liked how love survives/continues.  This poem is hopeful and passionate in its return to the source of its love.

...very nice ...
