Yesterdays Blossom

Twirling like a silken flower, in wild fields
flirting as a silhouette, embrace my mind.
Absorbed in rhythm, as nature enlaces
harmonious sounds, rushing in the wind.

A butterfly fluttering above a growth of daffodils
amidst honeysuckle, with a tenor sound of bees.
Behold, an orchestra, as penguins serenade;
natureís enjambment, as my heart flows seas.

As ripened vintage wine you walk my mind
though time decreed your course otherwise;
for the last forty years. We met in wild fields.
in past todays, we sang our last goodbyes.

Hello Don,

My, this is so very tender and beautiful work.  Expressed so lovingly!  I really enjoyed this piece.  Nicely written and expressed.  Great job!
